Overview: As Manager Procurement Capex at CRDB Bank, you will be required to manage day to day supplier relationships by ensuring smooth transactions while adhering to contractual terms, internal policies and best practices in procurement.

POSITION: Manager Procurement Capex

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Job Type: Full-time

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy Development:

• Designing and implementing strategies so that to build and maintain a top tier supplier base.
• Collaborating with internal teams so that to understand procurement needs, negotiate terms and ensuring all supplier performance aligns with contractual agreements.
• Gaining deep industry insights especially on local market trends.

Procurement Management:

• Leading the procurement process for complex projects by covering everything from sourcing strategy to final contract negotiation.
• As sellected  candidate at CRDB Bank you will be managing yearly and monthly procurement plans while ensuring they alignment with organizational goals.
• Negotiating with favorable terms and conditions so that to ensure value for money and compliance with the bank strategies.
• Assessing of total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for each project so that to guarantee strategic cost management.
• Identifying and addressing potential risks during the procurement process.
• Maintaining supplier fairness including respecting throughout the process by providing equal information and response on time.
• Staying on updated market trends, suppliers and emerging technologies.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Regularly evaluating supplier performance so that to ensure quality and service standards which are met.
• Ensuring all supplier relationships that align with the Supplier Relationship including Contract Management Framework.

Leadership and Team Support:

• Supporting and guiding Procurement Specialists at CRDB Bank with other team members while contributing ttothe team goals and initiatives.
• Mentoring of new team members and help in training Procurement Specialists so that to enhance group performance.
• Identifying areas for improvement within procurement practices and taking proactive steps so that to address them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration or a related.
• Member of  PSPTB or MCIPS is required.
• Five years of working experience as procurement
