Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager at MHB Bank, you will plays a crucial role in driving the growth of Loans, Deposit Mobilization, Trade Finance, Bancassurance and the development of alternative banking products at the regional level. As sellected  candidate at Mwanga Hakika Bank (MHB Bank) you will overseeing sales activities by supporting and mentoring branch sales teams so that to ensure effectiveness of business strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

A. Business Development and Customer Acquisition

• As sellected candidate at MHB Bank, you will be required to maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Identifying potential opportunities that will facilitate business growth
• Collaboration with other departments in developing financial products that meet local market
• Providing regular market feedback to the Head of corporate about performance and customer trends
• Working closely with retail banking department in looking for new sales opportunities that will maximize profit
• Addressing customer inquiries by solving their problems so that to ensure their satisfaction

B. Deposit Mobilization

• Analzing local market needs so that develop effective growth strategies
• Leading and overseeing deposit mobilization campaigns
• Engaging customers for the purpose of securing low cost deposit
• Applying of new initiative as is outlined in the bank Callander

Qualifications and Skills

Academic and Professional Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Finance or related
• Five years of working experience in banking environment
• Strong understanding of the banking regulations plus industry best practices in Tanzania
