At Exim Bank Tanga we are looking for Branch Manager – Retail & SME Banking to join our working team in Tanga, Tanzania. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring financial targets through implementing a world class sales and service management system. As sellected candidate at Exim Bank you will also ensure seamless branch operations while adhering to company guidelines which are set by the financial institution and the Bank of Tanzania (BOT).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As sellected candidate you will be required to oversee all aspects of branch operations so that to ensure excellent business performance.
As sellected candidate you will be required to inspire the team in delivering of an exceptional customer experience.
As sellected candidate you will be required to drive business growth by increasing current and savings Accounts including fee based revenue.
As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure good customer service
As sellected candidate you will be required to develop strong relationships with customers so that to enhance profitability.
As sellected candidate at Exim Bank you will be required to acquire new customers and retain the existing ones by providing good financial solutions.
As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain operational efficiency and staff productivity within the branch.
As sellected candidate at Exim Bank you will be required to oversee the management by ensuring accurate transaction records.
As sellected candidate you will be required to prepare periodic and statutory reports for management.
As sellected candidate you will be required to implement the effective branch control procedures with a strong focus on financial security.
As sellected candidate you will be required to take ownership of complex customer issues through collaborating with other branches to ensure seamless service.
As sellected candidate you will be required to promote a customer-centric culture through coaching, guidance and motivation.
As sellected candidate you will be required to engage in community activities so that to enhance brand visibility and drive business opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking or Marketing.
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar leadership role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
In depth knowledge of banking operations, financial regulations and sales principles.
Excellent communication and relationship building.
Cabdidate with strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
Candidate with the ability to make decisions and growth business
