Position: Assistant Relationship Manager – Transactional Banking (Arusha)
Reports to: Head – Transactional Banking
Location: Head Office
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven professional with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate sales and account management.
Job Purpose
The Assistant Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high-value clients in the Tourism and Hospitality sector, as well as corporate businesses. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, the position requires managing top borrowers’ accounts to ensure seamless inflows and payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and meet sales targets to support revenue and liability growth.
- Monitor and report on key client accounts, sales performance, and business development activities.
- Strengthen and maintain corporate client relationships, with a focus on Transactional Banking products and services.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing day-to-day transactional queries and service requests.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or line manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, loan covenants, and financial risk management.
- Familiarity with banking operations and customer service delivery systems is a plus.
