Security Guard II 50 Vacancies at Tanzania Ports Authority
Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) is inviting applications from qualified Tanzanians for 50 positions of Security Guard II. As part of TPA’s efforts to enhance safety and surveillance at its facilities, this role plays a critical part in ensuring port security and the protection of assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and guard TPA premises including cargo areas, vehicle zones, and containers
- Operate integrated security systems and surveillance equipment
- Patrol property and inspect buildings, access points, and equipment for irregular activity
- Enforce entry control procedures and permit authorized access only
- Prevent unauthorized removal of company property
- Assist customers, staff, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner
- Report unusual conditions that may pose security or safety threats
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have completed Form Four (CSEE)
- Must possess training from any of the following recognized programs:
- Militia Training
- National Service
- Basic Police Training
- Basic Prisons Training
Salary Scale: TPASS 1
