Job Description

At Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) we are looking for skilled Machine Operator to join our working team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As Sellected candidate will involves operating and maintaining production machinery so that to ensure efficient and safe operations in line with Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• As sellected candidate you will be required to operate and monitor equipment by following established SOPs.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to perform equipment shutdowns as per SOP guidelines.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure machines runs at optimal speed and efficiency.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to capture and update operational data on designated reporting platforms.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure all products meet quality standards.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to perform routine equipment inspections and initiate necessary repairs.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to foster culture of quality and food safety within daily operations.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to monitor process performance using standard Short Interval Control methods.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to implement and sustain Manufacturing Management System practices.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor degree in Food Science and Technology or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of working experience in machine handling and autonomous maintenance.
