Tanzania Forest Conservation Group (TFCG) is currently hiring for Technical Advisor to join their project known as integrated Forest and Biomass Energy Solution for Tanzania (IFBEST). This project aims at addressing deforestation and reduce charcoal production in 13 Villages of Tanga, Tanzania
Duties and Responsibilities
Guiding project implementation and advising TFCG leadership
Supporting in Community Forest management
Promoting learning on agroforestry
Facilitating monitoring and evaluation
Communicating project outcomes
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in forestry, environment or related
Twenty years of experience in Conservation and rural development
Fluent in English and Swahili language
GIS skills
