📌 Position Overview
🔹 Job Title: Storeperson
🔹 Location: Geita Gold Mine, Geita, Tanzania

🔹 Role Purpose
As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient, secure, and well-organized warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve inventory management, stock accuracy, and timely material distribution to support mining operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✔ Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other mobile equipment for material handling.
✔ Efficiently receive, store, and issue warehouse materials while maintaining accuracy.
✔ Enter inventory data accurately into the Pronto ERP system.
✔ Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
✔ Report stock discrepancies and assist in resolving inventory issues.
✔ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
✔ Ensure all warehousing activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.
✔ Assist in warehouse security to prevent loss or damage of materials.
🔹 Essential Qualifications & Skills
✅ Education: Completion of secondary school.
✅ Experience: At least 3 years of warehouse experience in mining, earthmoving, or other heavy industries.
✅ Technical Skills:
- Experience with Pronto ERP system (or similar inventory management software).
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
✅ Licenses & Certifications: - Valid Tanzanian Driver’s License (Manual).
- Certified competency in Forklift, Integrated Tool Carrier, and Telehandler operation.
- Current registration with PSPTB.
✅ Language: Fluency in both Swahili and English.
✅ Soft Skills: - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
