Store Manager at Power Providers

At Power Providers Tanzania we are currently hiring for the Store Manager to join their working team in Arusha, Tanzania. As Sellected candidate your work will be to overseeing store operations by managing inventory and ensuring smooth procurement and distribution processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Store Management and Employee Supervision

As sellected candidate you will be required to recruit, train and manage store department employees.
As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain store cleanliness and overall appearance of the store.
As sellected candidate you will be required to properly allocate labels and stock shelves
As sellected candidate you will be required to organize physical stock efficiently by ensuring accountability and tidiness.

2. Inventory and Stock Control

As sellected candidate you will be required to verify invoice quantities and prices against client
As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure all received goods meet Power Providers quality standards and specifications.
As sellected candidate you will be required to handle returns while raising credit note requests for defective or incorrect supplies.
As sellected candidate you will be required to work closely with the accounts department so that to maintain cash flow continuity.

3. Stock Management and Reporting

As sellected candidate you will be required to administer stock tracking tools for incoming and outgoing of goods.
As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain updated inventory records by using a computerized stock management system.
As sellected candidate you will be required to conduct monthly stock reconciliations by comparing system records with physical stock.
As sellected candidate you will be required to generate detailed monthly reports on stock movements and valuation.

4. Procurement and Logistics Coordination

As sellected candidate you will be required to plan procurement for imported stock based on stock levels, cash flow and scheduled installations.
As sellected candidate you will be required to track defective stock and manage warranty processes.
As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure proper documentation for stock importation by ensuring smooth customs clearance.
As sellected candidate you will be required to monitor importation processes and liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure tax liabilities, duty and VAT exemptions

5. Security, Dispatch and Store Safety

As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain store security so that to prevent stock shortages and ensure steady supply of inventory.
As sellected candidate you will be required to oversee daily sales reports and other necessary documentation.
As sellected candidate you will be required to supervise the loading, packing and dispatching of goods.
As sellected candidate you will be required to verify delivery documents by ensuring all shipments are properly documented and signed upon receipt.

6. Asset and Procurement Management

As sellected candidate you will be required to establish an asset tracking system for Power Providers equipment and resources.
As sellected candidate you will be required to implement procurement system for non stock purchases that minimizes cash spending and maximizes product quality.
As sellected candidate you will be required to set up supplier credit facilities and optimize procurement so that to reduce staff travel time.

7. Technology and Process Optimization

As sellected candidate you will be required to implement an online storekeeping system by using SKU codes for efficient stock tracking.
As sellected candidate you will be required to develop and document store and procurement protocols for streamlined operations.

8. Reporting and Compliance

As sellected candidate you will be required to report directly to the Managing Director on store operations, procurement and inventory matters.
As sellected candidate you will be required to regularly assess store performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
