About the Role

CRDB Bank is looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Security Architecture team. Reporting to the Enterprise Security Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring security is embedded in Agile squads, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and CRDB’s products and services. Your expertise will help design, implement, and assess cybersecurity controls, ensuring secure coding practices and robust application security.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security into Agile squads and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure a security-first approach in products, services, and systems.
• Conduct penetration testing, security assessments, and threat modeling for web and mobile applications to detect and address vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical guidance on secure coding, software design, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend security controls to mitigate potential threats.
• Develop and maintain security standards, guidelines, and tools to support secure Agile development.
• Conduct secure code reviews and provide actionable insights to improve application security.
• Collaborate with Security Champions to reinforce security best practices within development teams.
• Assist in building secure DevOps pipelines and integrating security within CI/CD workflows.
• Conduct automated security testing (SAST & DAST) within development and production environments.
• Enforce security policies across the development and deployment stages in CI/CD pipelines.
• Train, mentor, and coach software developers, DevOps teams, and product owners on cybersecurity best practices.
• Support incident response efforts related to application security breaches.
• Ensure third-party security compliance and provide risk assurance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CSSLP, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity and Software Development.
• Strong expertise in application security principles, secure coding standards, and frameworks like OWASP and NIST.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SAST, DAST, and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) solutions.
• Experience in DevSecOps and security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong technical knowledge of ICT platforms, networks, infrastructure, and applications.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into security solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, and secure code reviews.
