Role Overview
As an SNP Planner, your primary responsibility is to develop short-term brewing and packaging plans that align with forecasted sales. You’ll be responsible for optimizing stock levels to maximize GLY (Good Lager Yield) while adhering to inventory policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize production and allocation to prevent stock shortages while identifying potential challenges early.
- Develop and present weekly and daily unconstrained production plans to Distribution Centers (DCs) based on LCP (Logistics Capacity Planning) requirements for the next 1-14 days.
- Conduct scenario planning, analyzing various inventory levels and mitigating potential lost sales.
- Serve as the primary link between supply and demand teams, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Balance short-term capacity, cost, and capability while maintaining service levels and supporting the commercial plan.
- Convert production plans from breweries into KPI-driven strategies, including GLY, NST (Net Stock Turn), and OAE (Overall Asset Effectiveness), ensuring clear understanding across teams.
- Develop and release short-term brewing, distilling, and packaging plans, ensuring a balance between demand and capacity.
- Coordinate brewhouse, racking, filtration, distilling, and blending schedules to maintain adequate beer and spirits stock levels for packaging.
- Establish, monitor, and adjust brewing, distilling, and packaging schedules to ensure brand-specific inventory availability at all times.
- Ensure the necessary resources—such as raw materials, packaging, and workforce—are in place to execute schedules efficiently.
Data Management & Optimization
- Maintain master and transactional data within the system, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, production plans, transfers, and sales orders.
- Oversee product parameters, including inventory policies, procurement strategies, lot sizes, production costs, and lead times.
- Optimize transportation logistics by managing policies, costs, and lane efficiencies.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Adhere to daily, weekly, and monthly meeting routines in line with LCP guidelines.
- Standardize processes through Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure continuous improvement using Operational Work Diagnoses (OWDs).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly and apply problem-solving techniques when performance falls below targets.
- Publish accurate reports in accordance with LCP guidelines and internal requirements.
- Actively participate in DPO (Dynamic Planning and Optimization) routines and processes.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of linear programming and optimization analytics is an advantage.
- Experience in planning tools, distribution strategies, and supplier management.
- Ability to analyze sales trends, understand manufacturing processes, and translate insights into production strategies.
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, particularly in manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills at all levels.
- High resilience and ability to perform under pressure in an operational environment.
- Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Commerce.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferred).
