Position: Site Administrator

Role Overview

The Site Administrator will play a critical role in managing site operations, supporting personnel, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws. This position requires strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the Nyanzaga site.

Key Responsibilities

Personnel & Records Management

  • Maintain and update staff records, including personnel files, contracts, and employment documents.
  • Oversee timesheet submission and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely payments.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Monitor staff attendance, facilitate leave applications, and support performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HSE protocols.
  • Assist in employee discipline and grievance resolution.

Health, Safety, and Welfare Support

  • Promote a safe and professional work environment by enforcing HSE policies.
  • Support employee welfare, including medical and life insurance coordination.
  • Address site-related issues by communicating with the Project Manager and relevant teams.

Logistics & Administrative Support

  • Arrange travel logistics, site visits, and accommodations for staff.
  • Conduct employee inductions and ensure that all personnel files are up to date and compliant.
  • Assist in coordinating site meetings and preparing reports as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational & Professional Background

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in office administration, preferably within the drilling or mining industry.
Familiarity with Tanzania Labor Laws is highly recommended.

Key Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili (both written and verbal).
✔ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
✔ Experience working in multinational and culturally diverse environments.
