Job Purpose

CRDB Bank is looking for a Senior Specialist – Strategy MIS to develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) that support strategic decision-making. This role requires working closely with the Strategy Management Office and other key stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate data is available to drive business performance and inform strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

MIS Development & Reporting

• Develop and maintain the MIS framework for the Strategy Unit, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Design, develop, and implement new MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics tools using software such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and enhance the effectiveness of the MIS framework to improve reporting and decision-making.

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Provide market insights and data-driven analysis to aid management in strategic planning.
• Identify and prioritize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for performance tracking.
• Ensure relevant data collection, validation, and analysis to produce actionable insights.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance reports detailing key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
• Compile board reports covering business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting business priorities and project updates.

Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with various departments to gather data requirements, maintain data integrity, and improve MIS reporting.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on using MIS tools for effective decision-making.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in MIS and data analytics.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
✔ Minimum of 3 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence.
✔ Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
✔ Proficiency in MS PowerPoint & MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Key Competencies

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen business sense.
✔ Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
✔ Strong collaboration skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
✔ Ability to build strong relationships with senior executives.
✔ Knowledge of banking industry practices is an advantage but not mandatory.
