Job Overview
The Senior IT Officer – Infrastructure & Integrations will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s IT infrastructure, managing system integrations, and ensuring optimal performance of digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Technology Services, the role requires a proactive professional with strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Management & System Integrations
✔ Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the bank’s IT infrastructure.
✔ Manage the integration of various IT systems and applications to streamline business processes.
✔ Lead IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, and regulatory compliance.
✔ Ensure near-continuous availability of all systems and digital platforms.
2. Vendor & Cost Management
✔ Monitor third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet agreed service levels.
✔ Review IT-related costs to ensure they align with budgetary guidelines.
✔ Collaborate with external partners to implement efficient and cost-effective IT solutions.
3. Technical Support & User Training
✔ Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring quick resolution of IT-related issues.
✔ Address user support requests in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.
✔ Share IT best practices and provide feedback to various supporting units.
4. Process Improvement & Compliance
✔ Ensure IT processes comply with regulatory requirements and security standards.
✔ Support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
✔ Contribute to the expansion of branches and ATM infrastructure, providing necessary IT support.

Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education & Certifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
✔ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Routing & Switching.
✔ ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management.
💡 Experience & Skills:
✔ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, system integration, and user support.
✔ Strong expertise in network administration, system security, and IT service management.
✔ Experience working within the banking or financial services sector is an added advantage.
✔ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
