Key Responsibilities

Talent Management

  • Implement talent acquisition and development strategies to support business growth.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Introduce talent management solutions that align with business priorities.
  • Train and support managers in applying best practices in talent development.
  • Consolidate talent data and provide insights to enhance workforce planning.

Performance Management

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the adoption of performance management processes.
  • Guide employees and managers in setting SMART goals that align with business objectives.
  • Coach managers to foster high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistent application of the performance rating scale and build manager confidence in using it.
  • Support managers in conducting constructive performance discussions and providing feedback.
  • Assist in making informed performance rating decisions and effectively communicating outcomes.

Organizational Development & Change Management

  • Drive engagement-focused change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Support leadership in communicating the change vision, including its challenges, risks, and benefits.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to change while mitigating risks.
  • Assess team capabilities and support leaders in building workforce competence.
  • Implement tracking systems to measure the success of change initiatives and adjust as necessary.

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Ensure effective training and development processes are in place to support business needs.
  • Oversee performance management initiatives to identify skills gaps and implement development plans.
  • Maintain accurate training records and manage learning budgets effectively.
  • Advocate for the importance of continuous learning, coaching managers in providing development support.
  • Align L&D strategies with business priorities while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs to measure their return on investment (ROI).

Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

  • Communicate clear and consistent messages regarding compensation and benefits policies.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes affecting employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure competitive C&B strategies for key employees.

Industrial Relations & Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in managing employee relations.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Support and coach managers in handling industrial relations (IR) matters effectively.

Employee Engagement & Advocacy

  • Analyze employee feedback from exit interviews, KPI scorecards, and other sources to identify areas for improvement.
  • Guide managers in using 1-on-1 meetings and career discussions to boost employee engagement.
  • Act as an employee advocate, ensuring fair treatment and fostering a culture of inclusivity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management, or Social Sciences.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in logistics or transport.
  • Proven expertise in coaching, leadership development, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations best practices.
  • HR certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
