Job Responsibilities

1. Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Manage the company’s tax compliance calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to the organization.

2. Tax Planning & Advisory

• Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions.
• Provide tax advice on business transactions and investment opportunities.

3. Audit Support & Risk Management

• Coordinate and manage tax audits conducted by government authorities.
• Prepare documentation and provide support during audits.
• Address and resolve tax issues or discrepancies identified during audits.

4. Financial Reporting & Process Improvement

• Assist in preparing tax-related financial statement disclosures.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax reporting and compliance.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency in tax-related processes.

5. Collaboration & Compliance

• Liaise with external tax advisors and consultants as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align tax strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with BOT, TRA, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and identify opportunities for compliance optimization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in tax and accounting software (SAP experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
