About the Role

Mbeyaone is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Operations Officer to support and manage our field sales team, including Team Leaders (TLs) and sales agents. This role is essential in ensuring the successful distribution of Airtel Merchant Pay products, driving sales performance, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Performance Management

✔ Monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure targets are met.
✔ Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming team members.
✔ Generate and present sales reports, insights, and agent productivity trends.
✔ Collaborate with TLs to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.

2. Sales Operations & Support

✔ Ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and operations.
✔ Track and manage sales data, customer acquisitions, and merchant onboarding.
✔ Ensure compliance with company sales processes and procedures.

3. Training & Development

✔ Organize and conduct training sessions for TLs and sales agents.
✔ Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to enhance team effectiveness.
✔ Oversee the onboarding process for new sales agents to set them up for success.

4. Field Team Coordination & Compliance

✔ Supervise and support TLs in managing their teams effectively.
✔ Conduct regular field visits to assess sales activities and team engagement.
✔ Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical guidelines, and compliance standards.

5. Incentive & Motivation Management

✔ Develop incentive structures to boost team motivation and performance.
✔ Monitor and verify commission payouts for accuracy.
✔ Recognize and reward top performers to maintain high morale.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales operations, performance management, or a similar role.
✔ Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and trends.
✔ Excellent leadership and people management skills.
✔ Experience in managing field sales teams and working with sales agencies.
✔ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and sales tracking tools.
