Position: Sales Executive

Role Overview

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing an assigned geographical territory consisting of towns, villages, distributors, stockists, and key outlets. Your primary objective is to achieve sales targets, grow market share, and strengthen distributor relationships to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Performance & Market Expansion

✔ Achieve primary and secondary sales targets within your territory.
✔ Work with distributors and stockists to ensure product availability and market penetration.
✔ Identify new distribution points to expand SBL’s market presence.

2. Distributor & Retail Management

✔ Build strong relationships with distributors and key stockists.
✔ Support distributors in order management, delivery efficiency, and operations automation.
✔ Ensure stock movement is optimized to meet customer demand.

3. Key Account Development

✔ Implement joint sales initiatives with top outlets to boost product visibility and market share.
✔ Drive execution of promotions, price initiatives, consumer offers, and brand activations.
✔ Ensure compliance with pricing, POS placement, and merchandising strategies.

4. Business Strategy & Sales Execution

✔ Develop and execute sales plans to maximize revenue and drive profitability.
✔ Work with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to optimize sales performance.
✔ Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.

5. Training & Leadership

✔ Mentor and support VSMs (Van Sales Managers) to enhance their sales effectiveness.
✔ Provide sales training, coaching, and performance management for distributor teams.
✔ Represent the Distribution Manager when needed to coordinate distributor engagement.

6. Distributor Profitability & Compliance

✔ Monitor distributor operations, efficiency, and investment returns to ensure profitability.
✔ Ensure distributors comply with SBL’s policies, contracts, and ethical standards.
✔ Identify and address potential risks or operational inefficiencies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Sales experience in FMCG, beverages, or a similar industry is preferred.
