About the Role
We are looking for a Safari Sales Expert to join our Arusha office. This role is ideal for a sales-driven professional with a passion for travel and a strong background in tourism sales. You will be responsible for managing incoming leads (no cold calls!), crafting custom itineraries, and guiding clients from inquiry to booking, ensuring they have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences and recommend the best safari options.
- Manage the full sales process, from initial inquiry to booking confirmation.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through exceptional customer service and sales strategies.
- Draft and finalize client contracts while maintaining accurate booking records.
- Update and manage CRM systems to track leads and client interactions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional activities.
- Address client concerns before and during their trip to ensure a seamless experience.
- Prepare sales reports on a weekly and monthly basis for performance tracking.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in safari or luxury tourism sales.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Fluent in English (Additional languages like Spanish, Dutch, or German are a plus).
- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, email, and CRM software.
- Deep knowledge of East African safari destinations and travel logistics.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Education in tourism, hospitality, or business is an advantage but not required.
- Personal travel experience in Africa is a bonus.
Salary & Benefits
💰 Net salary: TZS 1,000,000 – 1,300,000 per month.
📍 Work Location: In-office position in Arusha, Kisongo.
