Reservation & Ticketing Sales Agent – Precision Air

At Precision Air we are currently looking for Reservation & Ticketing Sales Agent to join our working environment in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In this position you will be required to handle passenger tickets and other  customer related service. You will also be responsible for ensuring a seamless booking experience while focusing on the airline policies by delivering exceptional customer support.

POSITION: Reservation & Ticketing Sales Agent 

Key Duties Responsibilities

• Processing tickets, booking confirmation and seat selections for passengers
• Providing accurate fare quotes for individual and groups.
• Preparing and submitting of daily sales reports as per company guidelines.
• Offering flight details to customers and helping in scheduling flights.
•  Issuing and revalidating  electronic tickets basing to company procedures.
•  Assisting customers with flight changes due to delays or cancellations.
• Responding to telephone and email inquiries regarding flight bookings and travel information.
• Ensuring of proper revenue collection while meeting customer expectations.
• Managing parcel bookings as per company policy.
• Conducting outbound calls in promoting Precision Air services if required.
• Performing any other duties can be assigned by the supervisor.

Performance Indicators

• Achieving set ticket sales targets.
• Ensuring 100% accuracy in fare quotations and revenue collection.
• Responding to telephone calls within three rings.
• Calling back all missed calls.
• Answering of emails within 20 minutes

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:
  • University degree in Social Sciences, Business or a related.
  • An IATA/UFTAA Foundation or Consultant Diploma is added advantage 
• Technical Skills:
  • Certification in computer
