Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) is currently hiring for 2 Research Officers in Genomics & Bioinformatics to join their working environment in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting in sample collection and analysis.
• Conducting routine laboratory works,  following Good Clinical Laboratory Practices
• Learning molecular biology and genomic data processing techniques.
• Supporting scientific writing and manuscript development.
• Contributing to quality control and equipment maintenance.
• Participating in team meetings and research discussions.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates in Bachelor’s within the last 24 months in Medical Laboratory Science or Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
• Minimum GPA of 3.8
• Candidates with strong passion for scientific research.
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English and Swahili languages
