Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for building strong client relationships? Exim Bank is looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to grow our business, manage key and potential customers, and drive revenue through the sales of banking products.

Job Summary

As a Relationship Manager, your primary role is to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive personalized banking services. You will be responsible for increasing customer engagement and achieving sales targets across various products, including liabilities, acquisitions, cash management, credit cards, and retail banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of customers, providing personalized banking solutions.
  • Drive the growth of CASA (Current & Savings Accounts) and Fixed Deposits (FD) while acquiring new customers.
  • Achieve fee income targets through portfolio management.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts, offering guidance to enhance their banking experience.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote relevant banking products.
  • Maintain a sales and queries database for performance analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with branch managers and key stakeholders to address customer needs and provide expert financial solutions.
  • Utilize client referrals to expand the customer base.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all Exim Bank products and services to better serve customers.
  • Prepare position reports for the Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with evolving financial technology systems.
  • Proven ability to assess customer needs and develop suitable financial solutions.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to take on challenges.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to maintain long-term client relationships.
  • High energy, goal-driven, and results-oriented personality.
  • Experience in structured trade finance, syndication, and project financing is an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products (liabilities, acquisitions, cash management, credit cards, etc.).
  • Proven track record in sales and relationship management within retail banking.
