About the Role

At Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) we are looking for Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our working team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In this position you will be required to ensuring compliance and smooth operations with regulatory bodies.

POSITION: Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Job Type: Full-time

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As sellected candidate you will be required to prepare regulatory submissions for agencies such as TBS, OSHA, TAEC, NEMC and GCLA.
As sellected candidate you will be required to manage product registrations and approvals with regulatory institutions.
As sellected candidate you will be required to coordinate and participate in regulatory submissions.
As sellected candidate you will be required to develop regulatory content, timelines and contingency plans in collaboration with internal and external teams.
As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure all submissions meet company quality standards.
As sellected candidate you will be required to provide regulatory insights.
As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain regulatory records and oversee compliance activities.
As sellected candidate you will be required to build strategic regulatory initiatives so that to support business growth.

Qualifications

Degree in Law, International Relations, Political Science or Public Administration.

Experience and Skills Required

Candidate with 4 to 6 years of working experience in Regulatory Affairs or Public Policy advocacy.
Strong understanding of business operations
Proven ability to build relationships with government and other stakeholders.
Candidate with working experience in regulatory affairs management especially in Tanzania.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong project management abilities.
