Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Hub Energy Monitoring & Downtime Prevention – Proactively oversee energy levels across regional hubs to ensure seamless operations and prevent service interruptions.
  • Troubleshooting & Pack Maintenance – Diagnose and repair battery packs to maintain at least 98% pack health while accurately recording relevant data.
  • Swap & PV Percentage Monitoring – Track swap and PV levels across hubs, making necessary adjustments when they exceed 80%.
  • Hub Commissioning & Activation – Supervise the commissioning process, conduct thorough testing, and authorize new hubs for operation.
  • Technical Setup & Data Management – Configure hub phones and controllers, ensuring precise and up-to-date data management.
  • Technical Issue Handling – Document, address, update, and escalate technical issues using GitLab.
  • Remote Troubleshooting – Utilize remote access tools to diagnose and resolve hub performance issues.
  • On-Site Repairs – Conduct field visits to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Preventative Maintenance – Perform scheduled maintenance on hub energy systems to enhance efficiency and durability.
  • Connectivity Management – Ensure reliable network connectivity for all regional hubs.
  • Technical Report Analysis – Review reports regularly to identify trends, troubleshoot potential issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Product Testing & Repairs – Test, troubleshoot, and repair defective products to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Inventory Management – Maintain accurate records of hub equipment, components, and defective inventory.
  • Technical Issue Communication – Collaborate with the Regional Coordinator to address and resolve technical concerns promptly.
  • Intern Coaching & Development – Provide weekly mentoring sessions for tech interns, guiding them through technical responsibilities and evolving technologies.
  • New Product & Firmware Testing – Assist in evaluating and testing new products and firmware as part of ongoing innovation efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and power electronics.
  • Proven expertise in energy system management to maximize uptime and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in performance tracking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
