Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Executive to join our team in Tanzania. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales operations, and expanding the customer base for PAYGO and portable d.light products. You will also play a crucial role in recruiting, training, and coaching sales agents, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering strong business relationships.

📍 Location: Tanzania
📊 Reports to: Regional Sales Manager/Zonal Business Manager
🚀 Travel Requirement: Frequent fieldwork and travel within the region


Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Business Expansion

Brand Awareness: Promote d.light products through direct sales at Experience Centers.
Customer Acquisition: Identify and onboard new customers to expand the customer base.
Sales Target Achievement: Ensure that sales agents meet targets by pushing stock to designated outlets.

Sales & Customer Management

Market Insights: Monitor sales data, stay updated on market trends, and understand customer needs.
Customer Support: Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently to enhance satisfaction.

Inventory & Channel Management

Stock Availability: Ensure all retail outlets are adequately stocked.
New Sales Channels: Activate new markets, schools, MFIs, NGOs, SACCOs, and distributor agents to boost sales.
Retail Promotions: Work closely with distributor agents and retail outlets to increase product visibility.

Relationship Management & Reporting

✅ Build and maintain strong business relationships between d.light and clients.
✅ Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on market trends, competition, and sales performance.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

📈 Achieve set sales quotas and targets.
🤝 Successfully recruit and train sales agents.
📊 Maintain real-time tracking of client queries and resolve issues promptly.
🔹 Ensure consistent stock availability and activate new sales channels.


Qualifications & Experience

Education:

🎓 Diploma in a related field.

Experience:

2–3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
Experience in the solar industry is a strong advantage.
✔ Background in high-growth sales environments is preferred.
