Bugando Medical Centre is a leading referral, consultant, and teaching hospital serving the Lake and Western zones of Tanzania. Position: Radiography Technician II (3 Posts)

Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Radiography, Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
  • Must be registered with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professional Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure radiation protection measures are upheld within the department.
  • Assist the Radiographer in charge with the preparation and administration of contrast agents.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures.
  • Help set up and adjust exposure controls for accurate imaging.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Salary Scale: PMGSS 4

General Requirements:

  • Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged 45 years or below, except for those currently in public service.
