We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Radio and TV Technician.


Position: Radio and TV Technician (1 Post)

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have completed Ordinary Secondary Education.
  • Must hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Telecommunication from a recognized higher learning institution. (A First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above is required.)
  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience working in Television or Radio.

Key Responsibilities

As a Radio and TV Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining electronic equipment used for radio and television broadcasts.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing audio/visual and control systems.
  • Setting up and maintaining radio towers, antennas, cables, insulators, and switches.
  • Installing and repairing telephone equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and switching devices.
  • Installing and maintaining computer hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
  • Handling electronic wiring and cabling required for equipment installation and repairs.

General Requirements for Academic Positions

Terms of Employment

  • The selected candidate will be employed on a three-year renewable contract.
  • Confirmation of employment will be based on satisfactory performance during the first year of probation.
