Job Title: Project Service Specialist

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Project Service Specialist to oversee and ensure the successful execution of all activities within the Project Streams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with requirements. You will work closely with the Project Site Execution Manager (PSEM) to monitor execution schedules, support project outcomes, and manage contract administration, planning, and engineering reviews related to the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the EPC Contractor to establish and implement efficient engineering review processes and procedures.
• Identify and manage the flow of information between the employer and the EPC Contractor while documenting all feedback.
• Develop and maintain the program schedule format and project progress reports for the PSEM and Project Director.
• Ensure all engagements and decisions prevent unnecessary EPC Extension of Time (EOT) or cost variation claims.
• Continuously assess execution program status, risks, and variances, providing proactive solutions.
• Implement planning and scheduling tools within the employer’s team to enhance project efficiency.
• Monitor witness and hold point activities in collaboration with the PSEM to ensure timely resource mobilization.
• Coordinate and consolidate inputs for clear and concise reporting to stakeholders.
• Oversee changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring proper verification and approval.
• Manage third-party milestone approvals in line with payment schedules, avoiding penalties and delays.
• Ensure full transparency and communication of EPC contract responsibilities, obligations, and accountabilities.
• Work with Legal Counsel to review all contractual documents before submission and escalate contractual notices promptly.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in managing large-scale EPC projects with proven process implementation experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience working in culturally diverse environments.

Terms of Service:
The successful candidate will be hired on a Fixed-Term Contract.
