Project Overview – Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership (RWVL) in Tanzania

The Women’s Voice and Leadership (WVL) Program, launched in 2017, is a flagship initiative under Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP). Its goal is to strengthen local women’s rights organizations (WROs), young feminist groups, and advocacy networks that promote gender equality and human rights.

The renewed RWVL project seeks to address the financial barriers faced by women’s organizations, particularly in crisis-affected areas. With financial and technical support from Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the initiative focuses on feminist grant-making, capacity-building, and policy advocacy. The project partners with organizations like WFT-Tanzania, Msichana Initiative Organization, and Tanzania Health Forum Initiatives (THFI) to advance gender equality and human rights in Tanzania.

Role Overview: Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the RWVL project’s implementation, ensuring alignment with Cuso International’s policies, donor requirements, and local regulations. You will work closely with local partners, government agencies, and key stakeholders to drive positive change for women and girls in Tanzania.
