Job Overview
UONGOZI Institute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Programme Development Officer to support the development, evaluation, and improvement of leadership training programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of training materials, ensuring they meet the needs of participants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Programme Development Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and preparing assessment tools to analyze leadership capacity challenges and support program development.
- Processing participant evaluation data to refine learning materials and training methodologies.
- Collecting and organizing data to support the creation of both digital and physical instructional materials, including user manuals and promotional content.
- Developing and updating evaluation forms to ensure training programs maintain high relevance and quality.
- Reviewing and analyzing Training Needs Assessments (TNA) data to align programs with client requirements.
- Assisting in the development and revision of program manuals, presentations, and guidelines.
- Reviewing external consultants’ training materials to maintain consistency with UONGOZI Institute’s standards and brand.
- Preparing departmental reports and performance monitoring data for program funding evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Political Science, Science and Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least three (3) years of experience in adult education, learning, and development.

Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary as per UONGOZI Institute’s compensation structure (UIC).
