Key Responsibilities:

As a Performance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing network performance across various technologies on modernized or swapped sites. You will:

  • Lead the monitoring and management of network performance, ensuring high standards are met during cluster drive reports and site acceptance processes.
  • Prepare regulatory and group network performance reports to maintain alignment with corporate standards.
  • Develop and maintain a KPI tracker for all Radio Network elements.
  • Ensure best practices for network features are implemented according to EWL guidelines.
  • Manage end-to-end network incidents, including outages and KPI degradation, and provide comprehensive root cause analysis (RCAs).
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to maintain optimal network quality.
  • Review Single Site Verification (SSV) reports submitted by vendors for site acceptance.
  • Perform audits and reconciliations of Radio Access Network (RAN) parameters and KPI performance.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in performance engineering, with a focus on network performance and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills, especially in relation to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong programming skills to support network performance assessments and improvements.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, including working with entities such as TCRA and external suppliers.
  • The ability to detect and resolve network faults proactively.
  • Experience in managing customer complaints and improving service quality.
  • A willingness to challenge the status quo and continuously improve network operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in a relevant field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid business acumen.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and big data is a plus.
  • Project management experience is an added advantage.
