About the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership (RWVL) Program
The Women’s Voice and Leadership (WVL) Program, launched in 2017, is a key initiative under Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP). It supports women’s rights organizations (WROs), young feminist groups (YFOs), and vulnerable population advocacy networks working toward gender equality.
The renewed RWVL project continues addressing funding challenges for women-led organizations, especially in crisis-affected areas. Through feminist grant-making, capacity-building, and policy advocacy, this project, in partnership with WFT-Tanzania, Msichana Initiative Organization, and Tanzania Health Forum Initiatives (THFI), seeks to promote gender equality and human rights in Tanzania.
