Position: Operations Officer (2 Posts)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Assist the Operations Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks, including onboarding new members, maintaining member records, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Process Optimization: Monitor and evaluate operational workflows, ensuring efficiency, adherence to internal policies, and regulatory compliance while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update member records, ensuring the accuracy of client information, contributions, and fund performance data. This includes managing KYC (Know Your Customer) updates in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with IT, Finance, Customer Care, and other departments to resolve operational challenges and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Identify potential operational risks and escalate issues to the Operations Manager for prompt resolution.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit periodic operational reports outlining key performance metrics, risks, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Support for New Product Launches: Assist in the preparation and operational readiness for new products, ensuring smooth integration of processes and workflows.
  • Document Management: Digitize and organize essential operational documents, including application forms, correspondence, and compliance records.
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the department’s strategic goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operations or administrative roles within the financial services sector.
  • Additional Advantage: Experience in pension fund operations will be considered a plus.
