About the Role

NMB Bank is looking for a data-driven and analytical professional to join our team as an Officer – Insights and Retention. This role focuses on improving customer retention, analyzing product performance, and identifying revenue leakages to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will use data insights to enhance customer loyalty, optimize product offerings, and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and increase loyalty for personal banking products.
  • Monitor the customer lifecycle, identify at-risk customers, and propose proactive interventions to retain them.
  • Analyze product performance metrics, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities in personal deposits and loans.
  • Design and maintain real-time dashboards to track KPIs, including customer retention rates, product profitability, and loan recovery.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports with actionable insights for management and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed reviews to identify revenue and operational leakages and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective measures that prevent future losses.
  • Support new product development by conducting market research and analyzing industry trends.
  • Effectively present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
  • A deep understanding of financial products, particularly consumer deposit and loan offerings.
  • Ability to break down complex data and communicate insights in a simple, clear manner.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, financial insights, or product performance monitoring.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
