In Tanzania Good Neighbors was brought up in 2005 and it was named Good Neighbors Tanzania (GNTZ) through which it has been dedicated in protecting children’s rights so that to foster sustainable community development through empowerment, leadership and local ownership.

Currently Good Neighbors (GNTZ) has launched a sister company which is a microfinance Institution which is aimed at transforming existing revolving funds from Partnership Countries into microfinance entities. This initiative are made to ensure easy access of affordable financial services for Tanzania communities while promoting an inclusive social economy.

Job Overview

Good Neighbors Tanzania is currently looking for a motivated and experienced Office Assistant to join their working team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As Sellected  candidate you will be required to provide support to the administrative functions at Good Fund Microfinance Limited (GFMLTD).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be maintaining office cleanliness including dust sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.
  • You will manage office documents including printing documents, photocopying and binding.
  • Organizing and filing company documents systematically.
  • You will act as a backup receptionist by answering inquiries and forwarding messages to appropriate office
  • Notifying managing of necessary repairs and maintenance
  • You will prepare meetings including conference room  and reservations .
  • Keeping office spaces, reception and boardrooms neat and well organized.
  • You will provide support to staff by moving documents to appropriate office.
  • You will be required to prepare tea and arrange lunch for staff as needed.
  • You will maintain kitchen inventory and oversee purchases
  • You will be assist in filing and organizing confidential documents.
  • Drafting administrative forms and documents.
  • You will be required to maintain company calendar, schedule meetings and events.
  • Assisting in designing and developing promotional materials.
  • Yoh will Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Candidate with minimum O-Level Certificate of education.
  • Candidate with additional certification in secretarial studies is added advantage.
  • Candidate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
