Are you passionate about hospitality and detail-oriented? Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa is looking for a Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team and ensure smooth hotel operations during the night shift.

Position: Night Auditor

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services:

Manage check-ins and check-outs in a professional, friendly manner.
✔ Provide high-quality, personalized guest service and handle special requests.
✔ Address and resolve guest complaints and inquiries professionally.
✔ Offer concierge services, such as recommendations and directions.
✔ Ensure seamless handover and communication within the Front Desk team.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

✔ Conduct the night audit, reviewing and reconciling daily transactions.
✔ Identify and correct discrepancies in guest accounts and payments.
✔ Generate financial statements for management review.
✔ Process late charges and maintain accurate payment records.
✔ Prepare daily cash flow reports and resolve any inconsistencies.

Administrative Duties & Documentation:

✔ Maintain accurate guest profiles and records in the hotel system.
✔ Keep logs of guest activities and arrange necessary services.
✔ Ensure all reports and documentation are up-to-date.
✔ Prepare the hotel for the next day by maintaining accurate handover records.

Other Duties:

✔ Manage Front Desk stock and coordinate supply requisitions.
✔ Ensure cleanliness of the work area.
✔ Uphold the ZWS philosophy and service standards.

Qualifications & Skills

🎓 Education:
✔ Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.

📌 Experience & Knowledge:
3-5 years of experience in a similar role (luxury resort experience preferred).
✔ Strong understanding of Front Desk operations and customer service.
✔ Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
✔ Strong financial and organizational skills.
✔ Familiarity with Microsoft 365, PMS, and POS systems.

🗣 Communication & Personal Skills:
✔ Excellent English proficiency (written & spoken).
✔ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
✔ Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
✔ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

📌 Other Requirements:
✔ Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as per hotel needs.
Tanzanian nationals only.
