Job Overview

UONGOZI Institute is seeking a qualified and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing the institute’s performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee impact assessments to evaluate the Institute’s progress based on established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Organize logistics for mid-year and annual performance reviews.
• Support the execution of annual performance evaluations.
• Collect and analyze data to generate periodic reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, mid-year, and annual performance reports.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and program activities.
• Draft quarterly and annual reports to track program performance.
• Assist in compiling implementation and performance reports related to National Key Result Areas (NKRAs).
• Support the development, review, and implementation of M&E systems and frameworks.
• Coordinate in-house M&E training and awareness programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:
  • Economics
  • Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness
  • Economics and Finance
  • Economics and Statistics
  • Statistics
  • Planning
  • Project Planning and Management
  • Planning and Policy
  • Political Science and Public Administration
  • Or other related disciplines from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in program monitoring and evaluation, research, or institutional/project performance management.

Salary and benefits will be provided as per UONGOZI Institute’s compensation structure (UIC).
