Duties and Responsibilities
- Advising governments on mining policy and regulations
- Supporting sustainable inclusive mining practices that align with climate goals
- Contributing to World Bank operations and policy advisory
- Collaborating with regional and global partners
- Promoting resilient mineral supply chains and low carbon mining

Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in mining, geology, mineral economics or related
- Five years of working experience preferably in Africa
- Knowledge of mining policies, sector governance, ESG standards and mineral value
- Able to engage with government and communities
- Knowledge of mining policies
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Willingness to travel and work in Dar es Salaam or Lusaka
