Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a leading provider of specialized healthcare services in Africa. As a healthcare social enterprise, we are dedicated to serving communities, especially the most vulnerable, through various development programs.
Our mission includes preventing lifelong disabilities and offering high-quality maternal and newborn healthcare services, including obstetric fistula repairs. Since 2005, we have been providing both community-based and center-based rehabilitation services at the House of Hope in Moshi, promoting inclusivity at all levels.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Medical Attendant to support our rehabilitation center in Moshi.
Role Overview
As a Medical Attendant, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers at CCBRT Moshi while ensuring a smooth and efficient patient care experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the clinical work area and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Assisting in the transportation of patients, medical equipment, and supplies between units to maintain a seamless workflow.
- Providing basic health education to patients and their caregivers.
- Managing visiting hours and coordinating with patient relatives to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Form Four (O-Level) certificate plus a basic nursing training certificate or a certificate in social welfare from a government-recognized institution.
- At least one year of work experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (proficiency in both English and Swahili).
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills.
