Barrick North Mara is currently looking for Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Shinyanga, Tanzania.
POSITION: Mechanical Fitter
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting all heath, safety and environmental incidents
- Performing risk assessment and promoting a safe working environment
- Inspecting and maintaining of mining equipment
- Supervising and training team members to build local capacity
- Monitoring of maintenence cost and ensure they align with budget
Qualifications
- Trade Qualifications or Technician Certificate in mechanical engineering
- Mechanical Trade certification is added advantage

Experience and Skills
- Eight years of working experience in mechanical fitting and mobile equipment maintenance
- Proven experience with underground mining equipment
- Good communication skills
