Join Our Team as a Master Chef
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Master Chef to lead our culinary team and create extraordinary dining experiences. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nungwi, Zanzibar.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service and top-tier food quality.
- Develop and curate innovative, high-end menus that reflect both international and local flavors.
- Ensure impeccable food presentation and exquisite taste to enhance guests’ dining experiences.
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen inventory, monitor stock levels, and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with hotel management to craft unique culinary experiences that set Kai Zanzibar apart.
- Stay ahead of culinary trends, experimenting with new recipes and techniques.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Master Chef or Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Exceptional culinary expertise, with mastery in diverse cooking techniques and styles.
- Strong menu development skills, with a keen eye for food presentation and innovation.
- Outstanding leadership and team management abilities to train and motivate kitchen staff.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control strategies.
