Position: Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities

1. Developing Marketing Strategies

  • Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Africa Pension Fund’s products and services.
  • Ensure marketing plans align with the company’s objectives and target audience.

2. Conducting Market Research

  • Perform in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Use insights to refine marketing campaigns and improve brand positioning.

3. Implementing Marketing Campaigns

  • Develop and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based initiatives.
  • Ensure campaigns maximize brand awareness and customer engagement.

4. Product and Brand Alignment

  • Work closely with product development teams to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals.
  • Create compelling messaging that effectively communicates the value of APeF’s offerings.

5. Building Strategic Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, media outlets, and other key stakeholders.
  • Leverage partnerships to enhance brand visibility and marketing effectiveness.

6. Monitoring and Optimizing Performance

  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics and data analytics.
  • Provide actionable insights and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.

7. Coordinating Promotional Events

  • Plan and manage promotional events, seminars, and client engagement activities to strengthen brand awareness and customer relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in marketing, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Technical Skills: Certification in Digital Marketing and Graphic Design is an added advantage.
  • Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and campaign execution.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
