We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to lead our service center, ensuring top-tier performance in sales, customer service, and operational excellence.

Job Summary

As a Branch Manager, you will oversee the overall performance, strategy, and operations of the service center. Your primary focus will be on driving business growth, team development, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Management (20%)

✔ Allocate and prioritize tasks for the team to achieve operational targets.
✔ Benchmark department productivity against industry standards and implement improvements.
✔ Track performance using a balanced scorecard, identify gaps, and develop action plans for improvement.
✔ Contribute to long-term business strategies, assessing market trends and identifying growth opportunities.

2. Team Leadership & People Management (30%)

✔ Manage and develop a high-performing team through formal training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing.
✔ Create workforce and recruitment plans to meet business needs, revising them semi-annually.
✔ Establish and maintain a succession plan for key team positions.
✔ Recruit new team members and determine appropriate compensation in collaboration with Human Resources.
✔ Approve leave schedules, monitor overtime, and address excessive work hours.
✔ Lead performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes when necessary.

3. Compliance & Risk Management (15%)

✔ Implement branch operational policies and procedures as outlined in manuals.
✔ Ensure all reports and regulatory returns are submitted on time.
✔ Maintain an updated Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities.
✔ Stay compliant with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
✔ Oversee branch cash management, including daily cash balances, strong room key security, and ATM replenishment.
✔ Conduct snap checks and ensure all cash movement protocols are followed.

4. Sales & Business Growth (20%)

✔ Develop and lead a high-performing sales team to meet branch targets.
✔ Implement strategies to attract new customers and expand market share.
✔ Identify and pursue business opportunities from competitors.
✔ Enhance customer experience through personalized service and cross-selling NBC products.
✔ Monitor branch performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

5. Community Engagement & Branding (10%)

✔ Build and maintain relationships with key customers and community stakeholders.
✔ Represent NBC Bank at community events and networking functions.
✔ Strengthen the branch’s visibility and reputation within the local market.

6. Personal & Professional Development (5%)

✔ Stay updated on banking policies, regulations, and industry trends.
✔ Meet personal training objectives and participate in professional development programs.
✔ Continuously expand knowledge of NBC products and services to provide expert customer guidance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certification:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Banking & Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on branch operations and team leadership.
