Role Overview:
As the Manager, Project Management Office (PMO), you will oversee the bank’s entire project portfolio, including traditional business initiatives and cutting-edge digital innovations. You will play a key role in driving efficiency, ensuring projects align with strategic goals, and fostering a culture of Agile excellence. This position requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and champion digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Project Governance & Leadership
- Establish and maintain an Agile project governance framework for both traditional and digital initiatives.
- Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to enhance collaboration, speed, and customer-centric development.
- Act as an Agile coach, guiding teams through sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog management.
Digital Transformation & Market Trends
- Identify emerging technologies and industry trends that can enhance the bank’s operations and customer experiences.
- Ensure Agile principles are integrated into digital transformation efforts for rapid prototyping and efficient delivery.
Project Planning & Execution
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring scalability and organizational adoption.
- Utilize Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to track progress and adjust priorities dynamically.
Enhancing Digital Services
- Lead initiatives to improve digital banking experiences and streamline internal processes.
- Work closely with ICT, Business Development, and Operations teams to test and deploy new digital services efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management
- Develop proposals and business requirement documents for bank-wide projects.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., Scrum of Scrums) to maintain transparency and collaboration.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely and quality project execution.
Financial & Performance Management
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and monitor ROI for major projects, particularly digital innovation initiatives.
- Define and track KPIs to measure project success and drive continuous improvement.
Market Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product enhancements and process improvements.
- Analyze competitor activities, customer insights, and emerging technologies to inform project priorities.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with the Manager of Product Development to align product-specific initiatives with broader transformation projects.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning by conducting Agile retrospectives and scaling best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience in Agile project management, backlog management, and sprint execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and process improvement.
- Familiarity with digital banking solutions, industry trends, and core banking platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Projects, and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
