Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth: Generate new business leads, close deals, and boost revenue through cold calls, site visits, sales tours, and networking.
- Market Analysis: Identify new business opportunities by analyzing local market trends and competitor activity.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major group and catering clients to expand market share.
- Sales Strategy & Budgeting: Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing sales strategies and preparing departmental budgets.
- Industry Representation: Act as a professional brand ambassador for the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Collaboration with Revenue Team: Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure that negotiated rates align with financial goals.
- Customer Engagement & Retention: Maintain relationships with both new and existing customers to secure future bookings through sales calls, entertainment activities, and trade shows.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with the front office team to ensure seamless customer service and aligned business goals.
- Meetings & Reporting: Attend necessary departmental and lodge meetings and provide management with timely strategic sales insights.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Essential Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation with empathy for clients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Sound analytical skills to assess market trends and competition.
- Solid knowledge of marketing strategies and revenue growth techniques.
- A confident, warm, and hospitable personality with a professional demeanor.
