Enza Zaden Africa Ltd is a leading horticultural company specializing in the production of high-quality hybrid seeds. These seeds are exported to our parent company in the Netherlands, where they undergo rigorous quality checks before being distributed worldwide under the Enza Zaden brand.
We are seeking a Local Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Arusha, Tanzania. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving company protocols through our Quality Management System (QMS). The successful candidate will also oversee compliance with health, safety, and operational standards while ensuring that staff receive proper training and follow established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations.
✔ Monitor and enforce adherence to quality assurance protocols.
✔ Conduct internal audits and report findings to management.
✔ Deliver protocol training to employees to ensure best practices.
✔ Oversee the use and continuous improvement of the QMS system.
✔ Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) standards.
🎓 Education & Experience:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field from an accredited institution.
✔ Up to 4 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or compliance.
✔ Experience in farming or the agricultural sector is a plus.
💡 Key Competencies:
✔ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
✔ Proficiency in using ERP and QMS systems.
✔ Fluency in English and Swahili (both written and spoken).
