At TEVI Microfinance Company Limited we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our working team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As sellected candidate at TEVI Microfinance you will be required to promote and sell company financial products to new and existing customers by ensuring sales targets are met.
As sellected candidate you will be required to assess and process loan applications for both group and individual clients who meet the required criteria.
As sellected candidate you will be required to conduct business and home visits so that to evaluate applicants creditworthiness and their repayment ability.
As sellected candidate you will be required to monitor clients after loan disbursement so that to ensure timely repayment and compliance with loan agreements.
As sellected candidate you will be required to manage delinquent accounts by ensuring proper follow up and maintaining of high quality loan book.
As sellected candidate you will be required to adhere to the company policies, processes and procedures in all credit related activities.
As sellected candidate you will be required to prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to the immediate supervisor.
As sellected candidate you will be required to perform any additional duties that can be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Candidate with Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related.
Candidate with a minimum of three years of working experience in microfinance
Candidate with strong knowledge of micro and small business financial analysis.
Candidate with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Candidate with strong communication and customer relationship management abilities.
