Enabel Tanzania is an Organization that operates in Tanzania as a public limited company under a public law. The company was brought up basing on the General Agreement on Development Cooperation between The United Republic of Tanzania and The Kingdom of Belgium as the Cooperation was signed on October 16, 2002. The company transformed from BTC to Enabel that was formalized through an introduction letter that came from the Embassy of Belgium forexample the letterwith reference number Ref: N° 2018/023 that was sent on January 25, 2018.
Enabel Tanzania has increased its initiatives on its four year beekeeping project that was brought up by the European Union. The Beekeeping project is six month old and now it is on its inception phase operating under the 11th European Development Fund. The primary goal of this project is to support sustainable agriculture through enhancing natural resource management, including forests and ecosystem services for the long term agricultural development and climate change adaptation. The Enabel Tanzania project is based on the European Union Action Document for Beekeeping Value Chain Support that aligns with this objective while contributing to the broader themes of Planet and Prosperity.
Basing on this initiative, Enabel Tanzania has been collaborating with various national and international donors so that to drive impactful development projects across different sectors in Tanzania.
