Job Overview

Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is seeking two (2) skilled IT Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and supporting desktop systems, assisting with network-related issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve system problems, including remote troubleshooting when necessary.
• Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment and software.
• Log and track technical issues in the service desk system, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and monitoring.
• Document common IT issues, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures for reference.
• Train and guide users on IT best practices and new technology tools.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, including user access management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: At least 6 months of hands-on experience in IT support, including system installation and configuration.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and repairing computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting, including routers and switches.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
