Are you passionate about agriculture and irrigation management?. Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is looking for a dedicated Irrigation Team Lead to join their working team in Morogoro, Tanzania.  As Sellected  candidate you will oversee improvement of Kilombero Sugar irrigation operations by ensuring efficient water management and sustainable sugarcane production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and inspecting irrigation activities across designated fields.
• Monitoring and documentation of daily irrigation schedules, cycles and pressure levels.
• Assigning tasks to team members and tracking work performance.
• Identifying and reporting of any field issues including fires, floods, weeds, pests or theft.
• Ensuring proper placement and shifting of irrigation lines according to set standards.
• Maintaining and inventory irrigation equipment by submitting regular reports.
• Training and mentoring of farm staff on best irrigation practices.
• Upholding company policies including Safety, Health, Environment, Risk  and Quality regulations.

What are We Looking

• Certificate in Agriculture or related field.
• Two to three years of working experience in sugarcane farming.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
